Service Description
The very first time someone did a full face of makeup for me, I cried. I was about sixteen and the skill level was there, but the artist had made no effort to truly flatter MY face...if anything, she FLATTENED my face. I left the chair looking AND feeling worse than when I'd sat down. Determined to learn for myself, I watched tutorials, studied boarding school roommates, and practiced applying makeup that was suitable for my facial features. It was during this time I learned how to draw winged eyeliner that didn't overtake my small eyes and where to highlight my "bulbous" nose instead of contouring it to smooth away my ethnic beauty. It paid off. For years I've gotten compliments on my makeup and replicated looks on coworkers and friends at their requests for no charge. Finally, though, I'm bringing my zeal and skill for makeup to the public. When you sit in my chair, you are not just getting your makeup done. You're having therapy, laughter, and transformation because true beauty starts within; and I refuse to let you leave my chair feeling ugly....inside or out.
Cancellation Policy
Pearls Unclutched L.L.C. being referred to in future portions of this policy as "the company" has the following nonexhaustive rules for this service. "Clients" refer to person receiving the service and not necessarily the purchaser. -Clients receive discount when they supply their own products (up to 15%). -Deposit nonrefundable unless service is cancelled by the company. -Deposit is not applied to service because I travel to you as a courtesy (up to 30 minutes one way. Up to 1 hour one way with add-on). -The company reserves the right to post client's likeness on current and future social media platforms for purposes of promotion, industry comparison, tutorials, etc. indefinitely unless client opts out of this in writing. To opt out, email pearlsunclutched@gmail.com. Attention: Social Media Opt Out. -Client waives the company of all liability for any adverse skin or allergic reactions, or other possible medical issues relating to the products applied. -The company does not have licensed cosmetologists, and by booking this service, the client or and/or client representative is aware of and accepts that.
